Postdoctoral Fellow in Spatial Analysis of Nature, Behavior, and Health
The Gund Institute for Environment at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ and seek an exceptional scientist for a new Postdoctoral Fellowship in Spatial Modeling of Nature and Health. This postdoc will develop rigorous and practical spatial models relating natural areas and human behavior to health and well-being outcomes.
The postdoc will join the Lived Experiences Measured Using Rings Study (). LEMURS is an ongoing longitudinal cohort study aimed at understanding environments and behaviors that contribute to health and well-being. The postdoctoral fellow will utilize over two years of data from daily nature exposure, wearable devices, and surveys on over 1000 individuals to investigate these relationships. We expect the postdoc to lead analyses, manuscripts, and to publish findings in international peer-reviewed journals. The postdoc will also have an opportunity to help guide interventions deployed based on research findings.Â
