My pedagogy and research stem from the rhetorical tradition. I believe that training in citizenship is crucial to any grounded education. To this end, I hope to engage students in exploring the relationality between communication and culture.
My own research explores residual and emergent communicative practices that can help us better connect with the water cycle. I believe that when water is considered beyond its instrumentality, we as a society may become better equipped for environmental sustainability.
