Dr. Benjamin Dangl has worked as a journalist throughout Latin America for over two decades, covering politics, social justice movements, and human rights issues for news outlets including The Guardian, Salon, Vice, Asia Times, and Al Jazeera. He has worked as the editor of various award-winning digital media outlets covering global news, and has published four books on Latin American politics, Indigenous and social movements, street culture, and natural resource conflicts. Dr. Dangl’s current research focuses on Indigenous politics and decolonization in Bolivia and the communication strategies of social justice movements.
