Laura Bloomfield’s research aims to better understand the health risks of land use patterns and the effectiveness of scalable interventions in reducing disease globally. Her research integrates methods from epidemiology, spatial analysis, clinical medicine, and digital health. At ¶¶Òõ̽̽, she investigates the benefits of nature on health through the Lived Experiences Measured Using Ring Study (LEMURS). Dr. Bloomfield holds a MD from Stanford University School of Medicine and a PhD from the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment & Resources at Stanford University.
