Daniel is a PhD candidate at the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources and a Gund Institute Graduate Fellow. His research focuses on the sociocultural, economic, and biophysical effects of maple syrup production in Vermont and the Northeast US.
Daniel has also conducted research investigating the impacts of motivation in organizations, instructors, and participants of environmental education programs. Diverse coursework and professional experiences have informed Daniel’s interest in applied interdisciplinary scholarship on the human dimensions of natural resources.
