There's a lot going on at ¶¶Òõ̽̽, in Burlington and beyond - that's where ¶¶Òõ̽̽ BORED comes in. A team of ¶¶Òõ̽̽ students, ¶¶Òõ̽̽ BORED keeps campus up-to-date with the latest events, promotions and fun stuff to do, both on + off campus.

¶¶Òõ̽̽ Student Government Association, establishes the official representative voice of the undergraduate student body: to realize student power, to have a major role in the decision-making process at the University, and to promote the welfare of the academic, cultural, and social aspects of ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Community, and, with the authority recognized and vested by the Board of Trustees and by this Constitution, we do hereby establish an association of governance.

Housed in the Student Life office, LCE offers student leadership programs and trainings, advises service-based student organizations and Alternative Spring Break, leads voter registration efforts on-campus and coordinates the Next Step Social Justice Retreat. 

The Inter-Residence Association (IRA) is the student organization representing students living in the residence halls. IRA's values are promoting global citizenship, representing diverse perspectives and experiences, and creating socially just communities. IRA works collaboratively to improve the quality of life in the residence halls by advocating on behalf of residents, providing leadership development and community service.

Offered each January, Next Step gives participants (undergraduate, graduate, staff and faculty) a personal and collective experience in which to further develop their own knowledge and skills about their identities and learn how to become better change agents and activists against racism, sexism, heterosexism, ableism, religious discrimination, classism and other socially-constructed oppressions.

The Division of Human Resources, Diversity, and Multicultural Affairs oversees the Women's Center, LGBTQA Center, ALANA (African, Latino(a), Asian, and Native American) Student Center, Center for Cultural Pluralism and signature diversity events for the University. 

The ALANA Student Center (ASC) and a dedicated committee of campus colleagues coordinate Examining White Privilege: A Retreat for Undergraduate Students Who Self-Identify as White.  This retreat is specifically designed for white students to engage in building a stronger and inclusive campus community.
