The Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Dean of Students office provides support when students face challenges, ranging from mental and physical wellbeing to financial, familial and beyond. We’re a great place to start if you have a question and are not sure where to start for help.

WHAT WE DO

In addition to a team of staff assisting the Vice Provost for Student Affairs, the department includes the Center for Student Conduct and the Office of Student and Community Relations. Staff across VPDOS assist in the following areas;

  • Coordinating immediate interim action for those students whose behavior has jeopardized their educational success
  • Partner with academic units, parents, and family who are concerned about their student’s experience at ¶¶Òõ̽̽
  • Support staff development programs and our inclusive excellence action plan for diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Assist students with matters pertaining to their student records and requests for student conduct appeals

Bias Resources on Campus

¶¶Òõ̽̽ encourages students, faculty, and staff to share their experience if they have been impacted by bias. We provide space to be heard and supportive resources tailored to the situation.
