Privacy Program

Everyone–from students to employees and leadership to vendors and third parties–have a responsibility to safeguard the information that we access, use and disclose in our roles as members of the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ community.

Records Retention

Body

The Office of Compliance and Privacy Services oversees the institutional records retention program; however, each department is responsible for managing their own records. The records management process includes identifying, classifying, storing, securing, retrieving, tracking, and either destroying or permanently preserving records.

Privacy Reporting

Body

We all have an obligation to report all known and suspected misuse of NPPD to the Office of Privacy Services immediately. Third parties are required to report as specified under their contractual obligations.
