BIO

Bonnie Glass, MSW, LICSW, teaches practice courses for students across the BSW and MSW programs. Since 2011, she has taught courses on Advanced Clinical Practice, Trauma, Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, and Spirituality at Columbia University School of Social Work.

With over 20 years of clinical social work practice experience, she serves as integrative practice advisor and clinician at the Vermont Center for Resiliency. She is a lifelong athlete who also serves as Head Coach of ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Synchronized Skating Team.

Bonnie's social work career is rooted in over 15 years of serving New York City individuals, families and communities as program coordinator, supervisor, grant-writer, clinical therapist, clinical forensic specialist, crisis counselor, advocate, researcher, and consultant at a variety of multi-disciplinary agencies and institutions, including Safe Horizon, NYC Health and Hospital Corporation, and Red Door Community (FKA Gilda's Club NYC). She also served as a research faculty member and psychedelic psychotherapist in the NYU Cancer Anxiety Psilocybin Research Study.

Upon relocating to Vermont in 2016, Bonnie continued her clinical practice supporting adults who are navigating grief, loss, trauma, violence, victimization, and transitions. She also co-developed a yoga teacher training program for healthcare providers.

Bonnie's program development, clinical consultation, and supervision work uphold mentorship, creativity, innovation, and social justice values. She utilizes an integrative mind-body-spirit social work approach balanced with strengths-based, empowerment, psychodynamic, and narrative medicine perspectives. She is also a certified yoga instructor and integrates trauma-oriented mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork into aspects of her work.

Outside of her professional world, you can find Bonnie making coffee, talking about dreams, and getting as close to the ocean as possible.
