Research forms the foundation of the advancement of scientific knowledge. ¶¶Òõ̽̽ students in Animal Science have multiple opportunities to engage in research at every level of their programs, both inside and outside the classroom, from faculty labs to research farms students are doing real research from day one.
Paul R. Miller Research and Educational Center (MREC)
The Miller farm complex is one mile from campus. The facility has one wing dedicated to the CREAM dairy herd, and a separate wing to the Equestrian activities in the Ellen A. Hardacre Equestrian Center which includes a 22 stall horse barn and an indoor riding arena.
