Abby is the Lab and Internship Coordinator for the Animal and Veterinary Science department. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved south where she earned a B.S. in Dairy Science and a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences with a minor in International Agriculture and Life Sciences from Virginia Tech. During her time at Virginia Tech, she enjoyed assisting with research in both dairy and beef cattle nutrition and reproduction. She then completed an internship in Dairy Management at Miner Institute where she fell in love with New England.

She returned to the northeast for graduate school where she earned a M.S. in Animal Science from ¶¶Òõ̽̽ and Ph.D. from ¶¶Òõ̽̽ in Animal, Nutrition and Food Sciences, with research focused on bovine reproductive biology.
