BIO

I am an Entomologist that focuses on the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) of arthropod pests. I am particularly interested in surveillance strategies and the use and development of biological controls (predators, parasites and fungal pathogens) as synthetic, chemical pesticide alternatives. My current research activities deal with greenhouse and high tunnel pests (mites, aphids, thrips and whiteflies) and ticks across a diversity of landscape settings.

Publications

Area(s) of expertise

Entomology, Integrated Pest Management, Biological Control, High Tunnel and Greenhouse Pest Management, Vector Ecology and Management (Ticks)
