The Grossman School of Business (GSB) at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ (¶¶Òõ̽̽) hosted its annual Careers in Real Estate day on March 1 in the Ifshin Hall Keller Room. This signature event is a chance for ¶¶Òõ̽̽ students to learn about what it means to build a career in the world of real estate from esteemed alumni with real-world experience. Students had the opportunity to hear presentations from each guest, engage in discussions through a Q&A panel, and network throughout the day.
Real-World Insights
The alumni-led discussions focused on market trends, the complexities of large transactions, emerging opportunities for early talent, and advice for current students as they navigate their professional paths. They also touched on development, finance, transactions, and lending, and demonstrated to ¶¶Òõ̽̽ students the full real estate cycle.
The event showcased the breath of opportunity in the profession with each alumni panelist coming from different backgrounds. Students were eager to ask them about their individual expertise. The alumni shared their personal stories, successes, and lessons learned throughout their careers, and shed light on the different facets of real estate based on their roles in the business.
