How do I apply for my GI Bill benefits?
- Submit an through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
- If you have questions about the benefits available or your eligibility .
- Once your receive your Certificate of Eligibility from the VA, submit a copy to the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Enrollment Certifying Official (located in the ). The Certifying Official will create a file for you, and submit enrollment certification to the VA for each semester you are enrolled.
How do GI Bill benefits affect my eligibility for other financial aid?
- Eligibility for Federal financial aid (loans and grants) is not affected by receipt of GI Bill benefits.
- ¶¶Òõ̽̽ need-based aid may be reduced to accomodate your GI Bill benefits into your award if the following are true:
- You receive some form of ¶¶Òõ̽̽ need-based aid as part of your financial aid package.
- Your full need (cost of attendance minus expected family contribution, or EFC) is already being met by ¶¶Òõ̽̽ and Federal financial aid.
