Additional General Policies

  • Remain Pell eligible to retain the financial aspects of the commitment.
  • If studying abroad; must be participating in a ¶¶Òõ̽̽ approved Exchange program or ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Semester Program to retain the financial aspects of the commitment. Catamount Commitment students automatically receive a grant to cover the $500 semester study abroad fee if they are participating in an approved Exchange or ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Semester program, and also are eligible to apply for larger grants co-administered by the Office of International Education and Student Financial Services.
  • Pell eligible transfer students who enroll starting in Fall 2017 or later are eligible for the financial aspects of the program, but are not eligible for the program aspects (academic and personal support).
  • Dependent, Vermont undergraduate students, admitted in Fall 2017 or later who were not initially Pell eligible during their first year, but become Pell eligible in subsequent years will not be considered a Catamount Commitment student. However, ¶¶Òõ̽̽ will make a commitment to these Pell eligible students to cover tuition and comprehensive fees through Federal, state and institutional grants and scholarships.
