The Radiation Safety Office provides basic radiation safety education to all radiation handlers on campus.

  1. Radiation safety lectures.
  2. Private meetings to discuss general and/or personal safety procedures, contamination survey methods, radioactive waste disposal, pregnancy policy, etc.
  3. Group meetings with laboratory staff to discuss safety concerns.
  4. Radiation safety videotapes available for loan.
  5. Monographs to assist radiation handlers with various topics.
