The Office of International Education (OIE) assists ¶¶Òõ̽̽ departments that wish to hire foreign national faculty and staff or that wish to host visiting scholars or short-term visiting students (not enrolled in an academic program). We issue immigration documents for visiting scholars and students, submit non-immigrant petitions to the US government on behalf of the university for employees and advise visitors on the processes associated with these immigration statuses.

Working in Vermont

If you are working and earning a paycheck while at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ or receiving other ¶¶Òõ̽̽ funding, you will need to apply for a Social Security Number and be aware of your responsibilities for filing taxes.
