The Prayer and Meditation space is located in Given D202 and open to all members of the Larner community.

The space serves the holistic wellness of our faculty, staff and students and allows individuals of all religious faiths and non-religious beliefs to experience a place for peace, prayer, meditation and/or quiet reflection throughout the day. 

The space is accessible 24/7 via Cat Card and contains a variety of resources available for use.

  • Meditation bench and cushions
  • Prayer rugs
  • Spiritual and religious texts
  • Crystals and Tarot cards
  • Inspirational texts
  • Meditation prompts
  • Singing bell
  • Flameless candles
  • Art materials

̽̽ has three dedicated spaces to the spiritual and religious practices that keep you grounded. They are located at

  • Unity Lounge, Davis Center
  • Allen House, 3rd Floor
  • Interfaith Center

Ablution stations

Body

An ablution station is used for the ritual called “Wudu” in Islam, which requires washing of the head, mouth, nose, arms and feet before formal prayer and reading scripture.

̽̽ has two ablution stations:

  • Interfaith Center, located in restroom off of the fireplace room, and
  • Living and Learning Building E Lounge (key required).
