Founded in 1822, the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ is the seventh oldest medical school in the nation.

Our mission is to educate a diverse group of dedicated physicians and biomedical scientists who will serve across all disciplines of medicine. Larner is a pillar of ¶¶Òõ̽̽’s research enterprise, consistently securing the majority of awards and research funding.

The ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Larner College of Medicine receives $90 - 100 million annually in research funding. Researchers in laboratory, clinical, and community settings work toward a greater understanding of disease and wellness, as well as new, more effective treatments.
