Amplifying Agroecology
Amplifying Agroecology
Through a creative communications and narrative approach, we amplify transformative agroecology in local, national and international forums. We aim to inform, inspire and motivate people to action, contesting the narratives that undermine the transition towards a more just food system, and lifting up the stories and leading voices of agroecology. While interest in agroecology is on the rise globally there is a great need to consolidate and amplify the agroecological knowledge base. This is especially true for the transformative dimensions and voices of agroecology that can become overshadowed as mainstream institutions begin to adopt and engage with agroecology.
Working collaboratively with our networks in civil society and allied research institutions, the Institute deploys a program of creative communication, storytelling and knowledge mobilization to amplify agroecology in local, national and international fora. This includes the use of video, animation, podcasts, and other creative approaches to weave powerful narratives, across multiple media to the energize processes of food systems transformation.
