BIO

Kristen O'Connell serves as a Head Athletic Trainer in ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Athletic Medicine Department. She joined the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Athletic Medicine staff in the fall of 2009.

She provides the day-to-day care and prevention of injury for women's ice hockey and men's and women's ski teams.

O'Connell is a native of Arlington, Mass.  She received her bachelor of science degree in athletic training from the University of New Hampshire in 2007. She went on to earn a master's of art degree in sport psychology in 2009 from California State University, Fresno.

While completing her masters studies at Fresno, she worked with the 2008 NCAA Baseball College World Series Champions and the 2009 Men's Baseball WAC Champions.

In 2010, O'Connell became certified in the Graston technique. Her professional interests lie in manual therapies.
