Alex Elron (he/him) is a counseling intern at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ CAPS and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University New England. His clinical approach integrates relational, somatic, emotion-focused, and narrative therapies with an emphasis on identity development and personal growth.
Drawing from his background in community mental health, outdoor education, crisis work, and in medical settings, Alex brings a contextual, systems-minded, and developmental perspective to individual and interpersonal health and well-being. He is dedicated to fostering authentic relationships and facilitating personal healing and growth through both traditional and experiential modalities. His areas of focus include identity development and emerging adulthood, couple and group dynamics, men and masculinities, family systems, and experiential therapies. Alex is committed to creating an inclusive and validating therapeutic environment that empowers individuals to explore, accept, and challenge themselves while acknowledging the diverse experiences faced by individuals across various backgrounds and identities.
Outside of his clinical work, Alex enjoys saunas and cold plunges in the tradition of his Finnish heritage, backpacking, communal meals, and music.
