Northeast Network of Mountain Observatories (NENMO)
The Core facilities a regional network of mountain observatories. The interdisciplinary network supports a variety of high-elevation monitoring initiatives and hosts monthly virtual meetings. Working in partnership with the Mount Washington Observatory in New Hampshire and the Whiteface Mountain Field Station in New York, ¶¶Òõ̽̽ has secured a $500,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Network Program to enhance accessibility to our mountain monitoring data.
Northeast Snow Survey Feasibility Study
FRILS is supporting the development of a feasibility study for an automated snow monitoring network in the northeast.
