The Proctor Maple Research Center at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ is the oldest maple research center in the world. Established in 1947 by Governor Mortimer Proctor it performs scientific research of maple and strives to inform sugar producers and enhance maple syrup production across the globe.

The ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Research Forests provide sites for teaching, research, and outreach activities. The mission of these forests is to further our understanding of the ecology and stewardship of Vermont's forests and to support experiential learning in the Rubenstein School and across campus.
Research ForestsThe George D. Aiken Forestry Sciences Laboratory Lands
The property supports several ongoing field research projects, offers space for future experimental use, and is the site of two arrays of photovoltaic cells (solar panels) that generate power for the Rubenstein School.
George D. Aiken Forestry Sciences LaboratoryThe Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Laboratory (RESL)
The RESL coordinates monitoring and research activities for Lake Champlain. The lab includes the Research Vessel Marcelle Melosira. The lab uses a suite of observational, experimental, and modeling approaches to improve understanding of ecological processes for both basic and applied applications.
