Joint Committees

Body

The Faculty Senate and the administration may create committees for the purpose of studying issues for which joint responsibility is appropriate. Faculty members of a joint committee will be appointed both by the appropriate administrative officer and by the Senate President. The appointing administrative officer and the Senate President share joint responsibility for joint committees. The Catamount Core Curriculum Committee was established as a joint committee of the Faculty Senate and the Provost's Office, with a plan to become a standing committee of the Faculty Senate.
