BIO

Dr. Peter Knox is a Research Assistant Professor with the and in the College of Education and Social Services at ¶¶Òõ̽̽. His research areas include community schools, family engagement, social/family capital, education policy, school-community partnerships, and community-based organization management/involvement in education. 

Dr. Knox approaches his scholarship through a lens of equity/social justice in educational settings and have a strong interest in and experience working in partnership with rural and under-resourced communities. He is passionate about community-based participatory research that centers on policy implementation and program evaluation using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods data collection and analysis.
