Areas of focus include trauma-responsive care, JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion), adoption and permanency, and trauma-informed parenting.
Chynah oversees the Vermont Resource Parent Curriculum, a trauma-informed parenting course designed to equip resource parents with the tools and knowledge needed to provide the best care to children affected by trauma. Combining clinical expertise with practical training, she helps to build more resilient and supportive environments for families navigating the child welfare system.
