BIO

Diana E. Popa earned her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics in 2005 and joined ¶¶Òõ̽̽ in 2014. Since then, she has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses across three different departments. Diana is a prolific author and actively contributes as an editor and reviewer for various scholarly journals. Her research interests include TESOL, pragma-semiotics, and cultural heritage, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to explore the linguistic, pragmatic, cultural, and social factors that facilitate language acquisition and use in multimodal contexts.
