BIO
Ching Selao came to ¶¶Òõ̽̽ in 2009 after a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University, and a Ph.D. at the University of Montreal specializing in Francophone literatures.
She is the author of two books: D’une négritude l’autre. Aimé Césaire et le Québec (Presses de l’Université de Montréal, 2022), and Le roman vietnamien francophone. Orientalisme, occidentalisme et hybridité (Presses de l’Université de Montréal, 2011). She has also written articles on various writers, edited an issue titled « La figure du père dans les littératures francophones » for the academic journal Études françaises (2016), and co-edited a volume published in France, Littératures francophones. Parodies, pastiches, réécritures (with Lise Gauvin, Cécile Van den Avenne and Véronique Corinus, Lyon, ENS Éditions, 2013).
She is currently working on a book on Linda Lê.
