The inaugural United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship , which was hosted at the University of Vermont's Grossman School of Business, attracted more than 80 participants and speakers from as far away as England, Switzerland, Chile and Malaysia. Success Sows Seeds for Future Conferences

The conference had many highlights, including several small group workshops, extensive opportunities for networking, and a visit from one of Vermont's more politically prominent farmers and rural entrepreneurs, Lieutenant Governor David Zuckerman. Due to the success of this year's event, USASBE will co-host this event going forward, as it travels the country to Iowa in 2025, Colorado in 2026, and Texas in 2027, before returning to Vermont in 2028.
