Now in its second year, the Grossman Dean’s Cup returns to Ifshin and Kalkin Halls this upcoming Saturday, February 15.

The Grossman Dean’s Cup is a one-day business case competition organized by the Grossman Student Advisory Committee and is open to all ¶¶Òõ̽̽ undergraduate students. The students have the opportunity to apply their classroom skills and job experiences and act like a consultant; analyzing and solving real business issues.

Teams present their case findings to a distinguished panel of judges comprising of business leaders, alums and ¶¶Òõ̽̽ faculty, who will determine which team best understood, analyzed and presented their recommendations.

This year a record number of students have signed up to compete, so with a team comprising 3-4 students, it is likely 10-15 teams from across the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ campus will be competing against each other for bragging rights, with the first and second place teams taking home prizes. In addition, the event helps students with their public speaking and communication skills, as well as preparing them to compete in larger case competitions against other schools from around the world.

The competition, which is open to anyone, begins with first presentations starting Saturday February 15, at 9am until 11am. The final rounds will run from 12 noon until 3pm.

This year our judges include ¶¶Òõ̽̽ faculty, graduate students and alumni, who will be joined by several prominent business leaders and executives.

The Grossman Dean’s Cup, Saturday February 15 beginning 9am in Ifshin and Kalkin Halls. All welcome.
