About Beta Gamma Sigma
The Premier International Honor Society
Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma has grown to become the world's first international honor society. Currently, BGS has more than 500 collegiate chapters on six continents, and Society members reside in more than 160 countries around the globe. By accepting the invitation to join Beta Gamma Sigma, you will become part of the world's largest network of business school alumni.
Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is one of the highest recognitions a student can receive for academic achievements and expresses confidence in their abilities and promise to become responsible leaders in the future. Eligible students are identified as being in the top 10% of their undergraduate program, and the top 20% of students in a graduate program who have completed half of their coursework.
2025 BGS Induction Ceremony
The next BGS Induction Ceremony will take place in April 2025 followed by a reception in conjunction with Honors Day Celebration.
The "Best in Business"
BGS lifetime members are considered the "best of the best" in business. As the highest honor attainable at an AACSB accredited school of business, Beta Gamma Sigma membership is not only a symbol of high achievement, but also a beacon of things to come.
