Consultation Appointments
Individual and Small Group Consultations
In person on the ground floor of Howe Library or online: Whether you have a draft in hand or want to brainstorm and map out ideas, our consultants--experienced graduate student writers themselves--are here to listen and provide guidance and strategies.
Review-and-Meet Appointments
For drafts of 10-25 pages: Make one appointment, marked Review, and upload your draft. Your consultant will use this "review" appointment to get acquainted with your project. Also make a second appointment, marked Meet, with this consultant. At the "meet" appointment, you and your consultant will discuss your project, in person or online, and determine next steps.
No Appointments Available?
If you'd like to meet with a consultant and the schedule looks full, check again later. Or you can visit the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Writing Centers reception desk on the ground floor of Howe Memorial to learn if a consultant is available for a drop-in appointment.
Behavioral Expectations
As members of ¶¶Òõ̽̽ community, staff, students, and guests in the Writing Centers are expected to adhere to a behavioral expectations policy to ensure that all students can benefit from support in a productive, respectful, inclusive, and safe environment. Visit Behavioral Expectations to see the full policy.
