BIO

As a Masters of Geology graduate student, I am researching ways to improve flood modeling. More specifically, I am using 2D HEC-RAS models, spatial statistics, and other computational tools to investigate the effects of floodplain topography on flood routing in hydrodynamic models.

My research interests more broadly include stream and river restoration, fluvial geomorphology, and watershed science. Some of my key skills include advanced geospatial analysis, machine learning, and data analysis using R/Python/SQL.

I have a background in environmental consulting, having worked primarily on brownfields investigations, redevelopment and groundwater remediation.
