¶¶Òõ̽̽ Larner College of Medicine, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, in collaboration with ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Health Network, has announced the 2023 Health Equity Summit – Closing the Margin: Avenues to Health Equity. This joint effort aims to address health disparities and inequities within local and global communities. The summit is scheduled for October 29 from 4-6 p.m. for kick-off poster presentations and a reception, followed by a full day of workshops and sessions on October 30 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The event will be held at ¶¶Òõ̽̽'s Dudley H. Davis Center.

Stronger Together: Uniting for Health Equity

The Health Equity Summit serves as a vital platform to confront health disparities and institutional inequities. The event aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and actionable strategies for improved health outcomes, enhanced patient experiences, and the advancement of health equity.

Participants will engage in an interactive dialogue, discussing health equity, disparities, and innovation. The summit features keynote presentations and panel discussions led by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) experts and thought leaders.
