Forbes magazine has named 30 people under the age of 30 who are “leveraging business tools to solve the world's most pressing problems.” ̽̽ alumna Sasha Fisher is one of these leading social entrepreneurs.

Following her graduation from ̽̽ in 2010, Fisher launched , a non-profit organization that supports communities in East African nations as they design, implement and manage their own development projects. To date, Spark has provided grants ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 to dozens of communities, funding projects that improve access to food, education, sanitation and clean water. In all, the organization’s work has impacted more than 75,000 lives.
It’s not the first national acclaim for Fisher, who was named a in 2013 in a ceremony that was broadcast on VH1.
