Commencement is a cherished tradition at ¶¶Òõ̽̽, celebrating the achievements of our graduating students and the culmination of their ¶¶Òõ̽̽ experience as they embark on their next chapter. 

This milestone event officially confers our graduate’s degrees and honors their hard work, dedication, and success—bringing together family, friends, and the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ community to mark this momentous occasion. 

It is our pleasure to share the following updated schedule about our 224th Commencement, scheduled for May 16-18, 2025. Schedule details are available here.

The traditional Main Ceremony (or University Commencement Ceremony) will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 9 AM on the University Green. 

The Patrick Leahy Honors College Recognition Ceremony will take place on the evening of Friday, May 16, in Ira Allen Chapel on campus. 

We will use the Robert E. Miller Expo Centre at the Champlain Valley Exposition for College/School Ceremonies on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 of commencement weekend as follows: 

The following college/school ceremonies will take place on Saturday:  

  • Graduate College 
  • College of Agriculture and Life Sciences 
  • College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences 
  • College of Nursing and Health Sciences 
  • Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources 

 

The following ceremonies will take place on Sunday:  

   • College of Arts and Sciences (will have 2 ceremonies) 

   • Grossman School of Business 

   • College of Education and Social Services 

 

The Larner College of Medicine ceremony will be held at Ira Allen Chapel on Sunday afternoon.
