In the first of our 2024 Fall Research Webinars, Marisa Immordino shared her graduate research working with Lake Champlain Sea Grant's Watershed Alliance program. Using survey and interview data from early career alumni of three internship programs, this research webinar examined the impacts associated with semester-long, watershed education internship opportunities for undergraduate students. Post-graduation career trends and the extent that the internships facilitated career pathway transformation were also explored. Results provide valuable insights about benefits of participating in similar internship programs that can aid program sponsors and directors to recruit and support participants in the future.
