Dear students,

I hope you had a relaxing Thanksgiving break and were able to spend time with friends and/or family.

As we enter the season of final projects, presentations, and exams, I wish you clear thinking, careful studying, and academic success!

Please remember that there are a host of academic support services available to you. Please do not hesitate to go to your professors’ office hours or to reach out to the Center for Academic Success, the Undergraduate Tutoring Center, the Graduate Writing Center or the Undergraduate Writing Center, your academic advisor, and the Student Services Office in your dean’s office.

I want to also acknowledge that the end of the semester can be stressful, and world events continue to impact all of us. Please take good care of yourself and each other, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need support.

Please think about joining our extra special Green & Gold day on Friday, December 6. Wear your ¶¶Òõ̽̽ colors and keep an eye out for Rally Cat! Rally Cat and I will be touring campus to reward those fully decked out.

I hope your winter recess is filled with things that allow you to rest, relax, smile, laugh, and celebrate another successful semester. See you in January!

Provost Linda Schadler
