Planetary Health Postdoctoral Fellows Program | Planetary Health | ¶¶Òõ̽̽(title)

To advance ¶¶Òõ̽̽’s leadership role in Planetary Health, the Provost and the Vice Provost for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies invite proposals from academic units individually, or in cross-unit collaboration, interested in hosting a postdoctoral fellowship supporting interdisciplinary research at the intersection of human and environmental health. The Planetary Health Initiative Postdoctoral Fellows Program will award two fellowships per
year in each of the next five years.

About the Fellowship

  • The expected appointment length is two years; the initial appointment will be for
    one year with the extension of an additional year pending satisfactory progress
  • The minimum annual salary for the full-time, 12-month appointment will be $61,000
    and based on experience
  • $5,000 per year in funding for research costs and travel will be provided
  • Candidates up to 5 years post Ph.D. may be considered; former ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Ph.D. students
    are eligible
  • The primary focus of the fellowship is research; teaching responsibilities may be part
    of the assignment, but are not required
