BIO
Ingrid is an ornithologist who earned her PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, studying Sandhill Cranes in their wintering grounds of Northern Mexico. She has been a ¶¶Òõ̽̽ employee since 2010 when she started as a Lecturer in Ornithology. She is currently a Grant Proposal Developer in the office of Research Development, where she provides grant-writing support for faculty across campus and across disciplines. She also leads the NSF CAREER Commit to Submit program that ¶¶Òõ̽̽ offers yearly to early-career faculty. She is originally from Catalonia, Spain, but she has lived in five different countries, including the UAE and Mongolia.

Ingrid volunteers her time to the professional society, National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP), where she participates as a mentor in the Mentoring Program and Co-Chairs the Immigrant Knowledge and Wisdom Affinity Group (iKnoW). She is also a board member of the Green Mountain Audubon Society. In 2023 she completed the Yale School of Management Executive Education Women's Leadership Program; and she has been selected to attend the Vermont Leadership Institute in 2024-25.
