BIO
As the Employee Wellness Manager for University of Vermont, Cara Hancy works with leadership and across units and divisions to promote worksite wellness, build awareness, develop programs, trainings, and more. In 2023, Employee Wellness moved to the new Osher Center for Integrative Health at ¶¶Òõ̽̽, strengthening a culture of wellness through mission-driven aligned work.
Cara has an undergraduate degree from Ithaca College, and a master’s from Northern Vermont University – Johnson in Leadership Studies. She has recently completed the Health and Wellness Coaching curriculum at the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Osher Center and is preparing to sit for the National Board HWC exam. Cara lives with her family in Morrisville, VT, her home for the past 20 years, where she is active in the community as a swim coach & active parent. Cara enjoys skiing in the winter, swimming outside in the summer, and quiet time when she makes it happen!
