We are creating a museum in which everyone feels welcome and sees themselves reflected. An art museum that provides unique and outstanding teaching and learning opportunities across all majors and disciplines of study. We are using art in all its forms to expand understanding of our shared human experience, encourage dialogue, and cultivate critical thinking.

We are the Fleming Museum of Art at ¶¶Òõ̽̽. 

Whether it’s attending a class lecture in the galleries or researching an object up-close in our Learning Studio, the Fleming extends the classroom and enhances the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ experience for thousands of students every year. Only about a third of all universities and colleges in the U.S. have a museum on campus, and every year over 100 ¶¶Òõ̽̽ courses (and growing!) bring students to the Museum for firsthand experiences with our art and cultural heritage collections.

However, we couldn’t do what we do without you. Much of the Fleming’s annual operations, including creating new exhibitions, providing free admission for all, and caring for our growing collections, rely on direct support from our community. Private donations and individual gifts are what make our work possible. With support from community members like you, we know we can continue to create a vibrant, enriching, and welcoming museum space for all.
