Shannon has served as the Student Conduct Appeals Officer since 2021. In this role, she manages the appellate process and issues appeal decisions for violations of the Student Code of Conduct, the Code of Academic Integrity, the Discrimination, Harassment, and Non-Title IX Sexual Misconduct Policy, and Title IX. She is licensed to practice law in Vermont and Maryland.
