KC Williams attended Stanford University where she earned both a BA with Honors and a Masters in Sociology, and has 25 years of experience as a Sociology faculty. KC is on the Diversity First Board of Directors and also serves on the National Diversity Council. Her experience working in student advocacy includes having served as an advisor and mentor at Coastal Carolina Community College, where she taught for eight years, then as the Director of African American Student Affairs at the University of Arizona. As an avid writer and presenter, KC has been invited to publish numerous articles for Inside Higher Ed, an anthology for Third Woman Press, and has presented a paper at the National Psychological Association annual conference. KC and her partner love dogs and have recently adopted a Pyrenees Labrador puppy!
