BIO

Dr. Bentil is a Fulbright Specialist, Fulbright Scholar awardee, Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow and a Commonwealth Scholar. He held the position of Associate Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) at the College of Medicine for three years. He has been a member of NSF and NIH Review Panels and site-visited various training programs at several US universities. He has also worked closely with mathematics colleagues in Ghana and organized faculty-led study abroad programs at ¶¶Òõ̽̽ through which US students visited Ghana. He was the co-founder of the current National Institute of Mathematical Sciences (NIMS-Ghana). His current thrust is to forge strong linkages between ¶¶Òõ̽̽ and Institutions in Ghana.
