BIO
Greg Fisch began his musical studies early in life and also has an extensive background in Audio, Electronic, and Software Engineering. Mid-career, he also decided to pursue his interest in the Geo Sciences.
Greg worked in a number of venues doing Front Of House (FOH) sound engineering and also worked in many recording studios in the Los Angeles area with a variety of music genres and musicians. He plays a number of instruments, including: accordion, guitar, keyboards, and drums. Currently, he is working on learning the violin, viola, and mandolin.
He was a faculty member at National University for nearly 10 years where he taught over 60 classes in several different courses including: Geology, Oceanography, Earth & Environmental Science, Geography, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). He holds a Master of Science degree in Geologic Sciences from San Diego State University, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from National University. Early in his career, Greg attended Long Beach State University and California State Polytechnic Pomona, where he studied Electronic Engineering with an emphasis on Audio Circuit Design.
While primarily earning a living doing Software Engineering, he blended his musical interests with engineering and developed a variety of Multimedia projects for artists including: Prince and Bob Dylan, and companies including: Disney, Hasbro, Mattel, IBM, and many others.
He is the founder of Green Mountain Recording Arts where he teaches musicians the art of Audio/Music Recording, Mixing, and Mastering.
