Concerto/Aria Competition

The annual Concerto Competition is a chance for ¶¶Òõ̽̽ students to play a solo with the University Symphony Orchestra.

Eligibility

Open to ¶¶Òõ̽̽ students who are currently taking private lessons from the music faculty at the university, or who are currently a member of the department's large ensembles. 

Winners of the past ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Concerto Competition are not eligible to participate unless competing in a different category. Applications are available outside the Music Office.

Application Deadline: November 22, 2024
Audition: Monday, December 9, 2024, ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Recital Hall, 5:00—7:00 PM
Dress Rehearsal: 7-9:30 PM, April 8, 2025, (the winner must attend two more rehearsals on Tuesday nights.)
Concert: Saturday, April 12, 2025, ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Recital Hall, Time 4:00 and 7:30 PM
