155 SOUTH PROSPECT
151 South Prospect is well known as the Bittersweet house, a structure built in 1809 by Ichabod Tuttle. The main house is of brick construction, while the addition at 155 South Prospect is wood with Queen Anne stylistic features.[33] While no solid dates exist for the construction of this addition, the 1869 Beers Map of Burlington shows a solid rectangular block at this location and the 1877 Birds Eye View map shows a rectangular block with a small addition on the south of the structure.
