<p>Last week ¶¶Òõ̽̽ trustees passed a budget, signed off on a 3.5 percent tuition increase, and engaged in provocative discussions about the university’s strategic initiatives and campaign priorities. But as real as the accomplishments and meaty discussions were, a more human event might have overshadowed them.</p>
